Event Series Event Series: Cape Cod Writers Center Conference

The Cape Cod Writers Center is hosting it’s 60th summer conference at the Emerald Resort, formerly the Resort and Conference Center at Hyannis.

The Cape Cod Writers Center is the oldest literary conference in Massachusetts and one of the oldest in the nation. The conference is open to writers of all ages, genders, cultures, and experience from beginners to published authors.

This year’s conference features twenty-eight courses, mentoring sessions, a keynote luncheon, and student readings. The courses include mystery writing, selling more books on Amazon, nonfiction, memoir writing, the importance of place, writing for children, poetry, the art of storytelling, screenwriting, queries that kill, boosting your creativity, writing for young adults, an agents’ panel, and more.

Registration for members is free, $80 for nonmembers.

Three-session courses cost $170; two-session courses are $130 and a one-time course is $75.

Manuscript mentoring sessions are available with faculty members at $150 for an hour’s consultation.
