In celebration of ArtWeek Massachusetts, we will celebrate Basque art with its colorful and extravagant presentations through the medium of Basque cuisine. We will be presenting Pintxos, those tiny creations that combine the art of local cuisine in just one bite. You will dine on grillo, bilbainito, Felipada, bacalao, carabineros, Marmitako, merluza, porc and more. Basque cooks are widely considered among the best in Europe. So come and enjoy their love of fresh, simple ingredients prepared with time honored techniques! You’ll enjoy this great food on a hand-made dish you’ve selected from those created in our pottery studio. This tapas dish is yours to take home as a remembrance of the evening!
This is a BYOB event, feel free to bring your favorite wine or beer (if you are 21 and up of course)! This special event meets in the Owl Hall on the main level of the Education Wing.
