CASTING CALL FOR RIPCORD by DAVID LINDSAY-ABAIRE

Open auditions will be held for RIPCORD, a comedy by David Lindsay-Abaire on October 14 and October 15 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Barnstable Comedy Club located at 3171 Main Street in Barnstable Village. Director Sonia Schonning seeks a cast of 3 men and 3 women. Character description may be viewed online at https://www.barnstablecomedyclub.org/auditions.html. Actors will be asked to read from the script. Perusal scripts are available at the Sturgis Library and the Hyannis Public Library. Rehearsals will begin after January 7, 2024. When cantankerous Abby is forced to share her room in a retirement home with endlessly chipper Marilyn, a feud between the mismatched roommates results in a bet to determine who stays and who goes. Things quickly escalate into a game of practical jokes and one-upmanship, revealing hidden truths that neither wants exposed.
