The “Art on Loan” program displays the works of local artists on meeting room walls in Barnstable Town Hall. The works of photographer Alan Belanich are on display in the Selectmen’s Conference Room and the Town Hall Hearing Room now through October 15th, 2017.  Both meeting rooms are located on the 2nd floor in Barnstable Town Hall.

Currently employed with the Barnstable Patriot, Alan Belanich is passionate about his work.  “I wasn’t born on the Cape, but I grew up here and spent most of my idle time exploring the Cape woods and beaches.”  Come learn more about Alan and view his gorgeous photographs.
The Artwork on Loan program provides a venue for local artists to display their work.  Visitors who use the meeting rooms will discover an inviting and attractive environment and have an opportunity to learn about some of the Cape’s local artists.

This $2M collection is an extraordinarily rare example of fine draftsmanship and atmospheric perspective, seldom seen today beyond the recognized historic masters of painting.  Mr. Stobart’s Plein-Air works show nuanced light and spontaneity with broad brush strokes and chiaroscuro effect.
